TJ Sabula claims that because he “embarrassed Trump in front of his friends,” he was “targeted for political retribution.”

The autoworker who was suspended for referring to President Donald Trump as a “pedophile protector” during the president’s visit to a Ford plant in Michigan on Tuesday—a comment that caused the commander-in-chief to give him the finger—said he has “no regrets.”

While Trump was touring the Ford River Rouge site in Dearborn, TJ Sabula, 40, yelled “pedophile protector!” at him.

In response to someone yelling an obscenity at the president off camera, the president gave the middle finger and mouthed the words “f— you” twice, according to video of the incident that TMZ was able to obtain.

The White House claims that Trump responded “appropriately” to a heckler confrontation captured on camera at the Ford plant.

He was later removed from his position while an internal inquiry into the incident was conducted, according to Sabula, although he had “no regrets whatsoever.” “I have no regrets about calling him out,” Sabula told The Washington Post.

He calculated that he was about sixty feet away from Trump and claimed that the president could hear him “very, very, very clearly.”

Although he is worried about his career prospects, he stated that he feels he was “targeted for political retribution” for “embarrassing Trump in front of his friends.

Sabula identified as a political independent who has backed other Republican candidates but has never cast a ballot for Trump.

In response, the White House claimed that Trump spoke to the autoworker in an “appropriate” manner.

In a statement, White House communications director Steven Cheung stated,

“A lunatic was wildly screaming expletives in a complete fit of rage, and the President gave an appropriate and unambiguous response.”

This occurs as Republicans and Democrats continue to criticize Trump’s Justice Department for delaying the release of records pertaining to the investigations into the late sex predator Jeffrey Epstein.

Only roughly 1% of the papers have been made public, despite a bipartisan statute requiring the complete release of the documents by December 19.
