Take-Two, the publisher of Grand Theft Auto 6, appears to have laid off its head of AI as well as other of the department’s employees
Perhaps an indication that a bubble is about to burst.
Take-Two, the publisher of Grand Theft Auto, appears to have laid off some employees this week. As reported by Game Developer, the company’s head of AI, Luke Dicken, posted on his personal LinkedIn site that he and an unknown number of his team members had been let go.
“It’s truly disappointing that I have to share with you that my time with T2 – and that of my team – has come to an end,” Dicken writes. Over the next week or so, I’ll share a more thoughtful reflection on my experience with Zynga and T2, but for now I’d like to say appreciate your help in finding these awesome talented folks new positions – especially in the current climate.
” Dicken also mentioned that the team had been “developing cutting edge technology to support game development now for 7 years.” Several other team members have also declared their departure.
Dicken appears to have worked for Zynga (which was acquired by Take-Two in 2022), with his most recent position as senior director of applied AI before joining Take-Two to lead their AI group.

Last month, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick talked adversely about the use of generative AI tools, focusing on how their use does not ensure successful games rather than outright condemning them.
“These tools may help you create assets, but they will not help you create hits,” he stated at the time. “There are so many assets out there now. It makes no difference if you click a button to produce an asset or it takes six weeks; at the end of the day, you have an asset. Every year, many of mobile games are released, but only a few become successful.”
Perhaps what’s stranger is that Zelnick only mentioned his enthusiasm for generative AI in February, emphasizing the company’s position as a leader in the space.
It is unclear why these layoffs occurred at Take-Two. Last month, OpenAI shut down its AI video production app Sora, resulting in the collapse of a $1 billion collaboration with Disney. Perhaps the big wigs at the GTA publisher can see that the AI bubble is ready to burst, but this move does not necessarily mean the end of AI at Take-Two-owned companies.

Ten To Leave SM Entertainment But Remain With NCT And WayV
Just days after Mark Lee announced his departure from NCT and SM Entertainment, Ten of NCT and WayV has decided not to renew his contract with SM Entertainment, but will remain with the groups. His contract with SM Entertainment expires on Wednesday, April 8.
SM Entertainment wrote on WayV’s Weverse page, “Following careful and extensive discussions regarding TEN’s future direction, we have reached a mutual understanding to conclude his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, effective April 8.” Moving ahead, we will maintain regular communication to explore options for TEN to join in WayV and NCT activities, as appropriate.”
On April 8, 2016, the Thai singer-dancer made her debut as NCT U, the first sub-unit of SM Entertainment’s 24-member super group NCT, alongside Jaehyun, Mark, Taeyong, and Doyoung. He has been a member of NCT U (Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Mark), the Chinese subunit WayV (Kun, Winwin, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang), and SuperM.
He has released two solo EPs: Ten (2024) and STUNNER (2025). His debut solo album reached No.No. 6 on the Japanese Oricon Albums Chart. His second mini-album topped the iTunes album chart in 13 cities, including Poland, Chile, Peru, and New Zealand.
In a press announcement, SM Entertainment emphasized Ten’s “distinctive artistic presence and breadth of talent” in both his group and solo work. They continued, “We sincerely appreciate the time we have shared together, and wish him all the best as he moves forward into a new chapter.”
Ten To Leave SM Entertainment But Remain With NCT And WayV
As I approach my tenth anniversary, I find myself eager to take on new tasks, explore new opportunities, and discover new versions of myself. So, after much consideration and heartfelt discussions with the members and staff of SM, I’ve chosen to end my exclusive deal with the firm.
SM will always be my “home”, and I will forever be happy to say that I grew up at SM – especially as the first Thai artist to do so!
I am glad for the opportunity to learn, perform, and grow as an artist at SM. It is something I will cherish.
I’d like to genuinely thank everyone who has been a part of my journey over the last ten years. Thank you to my members and SM staff for their support, and most importantly, thank you to my fans – my Czennies and WayZenNies – who have always loved and supported me. It means more to me than I can convey verbally.
Moving ahead, I plan to continue my efforts as Ten of NCT and WayV. At the same time, I’m delighted to show you new aspects of “TEN” and to grow as a solo artist in this next stage.
Ten’s solo endeavors, like those of many other K-pop singers, will no longer be managed by SM Entertainment, but he will continue to work with them as a member of the NCT and WayV groups. Many musicians have adopted this procedure, including the entire BLACKPINK group, SHINee’s Taemin, EXO’s D.O., 2NE1’s CL, Pentagon’s KINO, and others.
Pumas and Chivas presented a high-intensity duel at Estadio Akron, resulting in a dramatic 2-2 tie. The game featured momentum swings, spectacular individual performances, and late-game controversies, keeping spectators on edge until the final whistle.
Pumas started well and appeared to be in control early on. They took the lead in the 21st minute thanks to a well-executed play by Juninho, who beat several players before assisting Uriel Antuna. Faced with boos from the home crowd, Antuna answered in the best way possible—by scoring to put Pumas ahead 1-0.
Pumas continued to press, doubling their lead before halftime. Jordan Carrillo’s set-piece pass produced confusion in the box, leading to an own goal by José Castillo. With a 2-0 lead, the Pumas appeared to be on their way to a rare away triumph against Chivas, a team they have always struggled against.
Despite the setback, Chivas demonstrated resilience in the second half. Their comeback began in the 70th minute, when Armando “La Hormiga” González scored with a thunderous header, giving the home side new hope. Chivas then raised the pressure and pushed ahead forcefully.
Pumas vs. Chivas Thriller Ends in Dramatic Draw
The pivotal point came during stoppage time. Following a lengthy VAR review, Chivas was awarded a contentious penalty for a foul on Roberto Alvarado. González stepped up in the 101st minute and calmly converted the penalty, completing his brace and winning a vital point for Chivas.
González was, without a doubt, the match’s star. His two goals not only saved the game, but also cemented his status as the league’s leading scorer with 12 goals. Furthermore, he continues to amass a remarkable record at Estadio Akron, where his goals have helped Chivas preserve its unblemished home record.
Pumas will be unhappy after losing a two-goal lead. However, there were some positives to draw from their performance. Goalkeeper Keylor Navas put on a tremendous performance, making numerous vital stops to maintain his team ahead for the majority of the contest. His experience and dependability remain a valuable asset to the team.
The match also revealed several areas of concern for the Pumas. Defensive lapses, particularly under pressure, were costly. Their inability to hold possession in critical periods enabled Chivas to retake control and stage a comeback.
Pumas have historically struggled at Estadio Akron, and this loss continues their winless skid there, which began in 2018. Meanwhile, Chivas continues to establish itself as one of the league’s best home clubs this season.
Finally, the draw displays both teams’ zeal and competition. While Chivas will celebrate their late comeback, Pumas will reflect on what may have been after such an impressive first half.

Pooh Shiesty’s lawyer questions prosecutors’ framing of the Gucci Mane robbery case in Dallas
Federal officials believe the Memphis rapper was the “ringleader” in the robbery and kidnapping of Gucci Mane and two other music industry heavyweights.
The Dallas lawyer for the Memphis rapper accused of organizing the theft of rap legend Gucci Mane in a Dallas recording studio earlier this year claimed the government was oversimplifying a far more nuanced case.
John Helms, who claimed to have entered the case less than a day before, described Lontrell Williams Jr., the rapper known as Pooh Shiesty, as a brilliant artist who has had “a lot of success as an entertainer.”
The words provided the strongest indication yet of how Williams, 26, may approach the case as it progresses. According to federal authorities, he was the “ringleader” of a group of eight men that kidnapped and robbed three music industry figures at gunpoint during a meeting at a Dallas recording studio on January 10.
According to court filings, one of the three industry figures, only named as R.D., signed Williams to the 1017 filings label. Radric Davis, also known as Gucci Mane, is a Grammy-nominated rapper.
Davis launched 1017 Records and signed Williams years ago. Prosecutors said Williams organized the meeting under the premise of discussing business.
Davis’ publicist has not responded to many email requests for comment since Thursday.
Williams ascended to national stardom in 2021 with the hit single “Back in Blood” and his breakthrough project Shiesty Season.
William has also collaborated with Rodney Wright Jr., a Memphis rapper known as Big30, who was arrested and suspected of participating in the crime.
Williams and Davis collaborated on numerous tunes. 1017 Records’ website still shows him as an artist.

During the studio meeting, Williams requested to speak with Davis privately and presented paperwork that would free him from their contract. When Davis refused to sign, Williams brandished an AK-style weapon and held him at gunpoint, according to court filings unsealed this week.
According to court filings, Williams removed Davis’ wedding band, watch, earrings, and cash, while another member of the gang may have used his phone to capture Davis signing the paperwork.
When they left the separate room, the other men in Williams’ entourage pulled out firearms and demanded property from the other two music industry figures.
The trio stole a variety of goods, including watches, wallets, a chain and necklace carrying the “1017” designation, a Louis Vuitton bag holding numerous other high-end watches, and a pair of Apple AirPods, according to court documents.
Helms claimed that another lawyer who had represented Williams in a previous lawsuit in Florida connected the rapper with his business. The two have already discussed his situation.
Williams’ group also comprised his father, Lontrell Williams Sr., and six other members: Kedarius Waters, Kordae Johnson, Demarcus Glover, Damarian Gipson, Darrion McDaniel, and Terrance Rodgers.
All nine individuals are charged with kidnapping and conspiracy to conduct kidnapping, each of which carry sentences ranging from years to life imprisonment. It is unclear if they have attorneys. Authorities said eight of them were caught on Wednesday, while the ninth was apprehended Thursday in Atlanta.
The younger Williams may face harsher penalties: prosecutors claim he was on home detention and wearing an ankle monitor at the time of the recording studio meeting.
According to court documents, he is serving the remainder of a 63-month federal sentence imposed in Florida in 2022 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to possess weapons in furtherance of violence and drug trafficking activities.
He was prohibited from possessing a weapon or being in the presence of anyone who did.

Mets slugger Juan Soto exits because of right calf tightness
SAN FRANCISCO—Scoring—New York Mets slugger Juan Soto departed Friday night’s game against the San Francisco Giants in the first inning with right calf stiffness and is scheduled for an MRI on Saturday.
“There’s obviously concern,” manager Carlos Mendoza stated following his team’s 10-3 victory. “The calf area may be tough. We just have to wait, but there is definite concern.”
Soto singled off Tyler Mahle in the first inning and appeared to slow down as he moved from first to third on Bo Bichette’s run scoring single.
“He noticed some discomfort,” said Carlos Mendoza. “While he was at third base, the tightness kept increasing.”

Juan Soto was thrown out at home after Brett Baty hit into a quick 1-2-3 double play. Tyrone Taylor then took over in left field to start the bottom of the first inning.
At 27, Soto is in year two of his historic 15-year, $765 million deal with the Mets. Last season, he delivered 43 home runs and 105 RBIs across 160 games.
Soto, a four-time All-Star and six-time Silver Slugger award winner, has played at least 150 games in six of his eight major league seasons prior to this one.
The only times he didn’t were during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season and his rookie year with Washington in 2018, when he was promoted on May 20. He has not been on the injured list since early in the 2021 season with the Washington Nationals.
Soto has hit safely in all eight Mets games this year. On Friday, he had a.282 career batting average and 245 home runs.

Todd Blanche takes over the justice department after Pam Bondi's dismissal - US politics live
Todd Blanche takes over the justice department after Pam Bondi’s dismissal – US politics live
Trump announced that the deputy attorney general, who was his former personal attorney, will act until a permanent replacement is appointed.
Donald Trump is visiting Washington today. Currently, he will spend the day in closed-door sessions.
According to the White House schedule, he has no press availability scheduled, but we will notify you if this changes.
Pam Bondi was Trump’s primary enforcer when it came to pursuing his perceived political rivals.
Will Todd Blanche continue to pursue cases against Comey, James, and others now that he leads the Department of Justice? He avoided the topic during a Fox News interview on Thursday night.
Blanche told Jesse Watters that Trump was dissatisfied with the condition of investigations, but said, “We don’t talk about investigations, but I can tell you that the Department of Justice works hard every day.” It worked yesterday, and we’ll keep working tomorrow.”
Last night, Donald Trump issued another threat against Iran’s transportation and energy infrastructure, claiming that the US military had “not even begun destroying what’s left in Iran.” Bridges will come next, followed by electric power plants! The new regime’s leadership understands what needs to be done, and it must be done quickly!”
Iran later said that a second US F-35 fighter jet has been shot down over Iran, with the state news agency stating that the pilot is unlikely to live, according to Reuters.
Last month, the US military announced that an F-35 fighter made an emergency landing after performing a combat mission over Iran. According to the military, the jet’s pilot was in stable condition.
According to Reuters, a spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya central headquarters stated on Friday that the second F-35 airplane was shot down over central Iran by Revolutionary Guard air defenses, with a poor possibility of pilot survival.
The US issued no immediate reaction, and the Guardian was unable to confirm the allegation.

Pam Bondi’s quick firing on Thursday highlights a fact that Trump allies have faced, from Jeff Sessions to Kristi Noem: no amount of allegiance can shield you from being discarded by Donald Trump.
Since the president took office last year, few persons have been more vital to his efforts to reform government than Bondi, his long-time friend.
It wasn’t enough.
Donald Trump has been accused of leading a “misogynistic administration” after firing Pam Bondi, the second woman in a cabinet already dominated by men.
The US president fired the attorney general on Thursday amid growing dissatisfaction with her performance, particularly the release of papers on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The move comes less than a month after Trump fired Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, citing criticism of her department’s administration and immigration enforcement.

Bondi and Noem are the only two cabinet members to be fired so far in Trump’s second term, despite the fact that male officials such as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. have been embroiled in problem after controversy.
Todd Blanche takes over the Justice Department after Pam Bondi’s sacking.
After Donald Trump fired Pam Bondi on Thursday, her former deputy Todd Blanche is taking over the Justice Department until a permanent replacement is approved.
Blanche was the president’s personal attorney before becoming deputy attorney general during Trump’s second administration. He represented him in the hush-money lawsuit filed by former porn star Stormy Daniels. He also worked as Trump’s primary defense attorney in the Mar-a-Lago docs lawsuit.
When Trump appointed Blanche as acting attorney general on Thursday, he described him as “a very talented and respected legal mind.”
Blanche issued a statement following Bondi’s removal, stating he is grateful for the “trust and opportunity” to serve as acting Attorney General..
“Pam Bondi led this Department with strength and conviction and I’m grateful for her leadership and friendship,” Blanche added. “We will continue backing the blue, enforcing the law, and doing everything in our power to keep America safe.”
President Trump stated Iran requested a truce, but emphasized that he will only consider it if the Strait of Hormuz is reopened.
Why it matters: The Iranian regime has not confirmed this, and it has rejected many of Trump’s earlier assertions of progress toward a deal.
While Iran and the United States have communicated through mediators, Tehran denies having direct negotiations with the Trump administration.
Trump may be alluding to a statement made by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday during a phone chat with European Council President António Costa.
Pezeshkian stated that Iran was willing to terminate the war but only if the United States ceased its strikes and Iran received guarantees that the war would not resume.
Trump claims Iran asked U.S. for ceasefire
Donald Trump stated on Truth Social that Iran’s newly minted president, whom he termed as less harsh but more strategic than previous leaders, has asked a cease-fire from the US.
He stressed that Washington would only consider such a step if the Strait of Hormuz was completely free, secure, and unfettered. Trump also warned that until then, the US will continue its harsh efforts against Iran, claiming that it would “strike relentlessly,” even using the phrase “back to the stone age.”
Reality check: Pezeshkian was already president before the war, and most analysts believe more hardline figures are currently in charge.
What to watch: On Tuesday, China and Pakistan proposed a fresh idea for ending the war in Iran, which involves an immediate ceasefire and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
Summer House Shock: Amanda Batula & West Wilson Bombshell Rocks Bravo Series
Summer House Shock: Amanda Batula & West Wilson Bombshell Rocks Bravo Series
The Bravoverse is already reeling from the news that The Real Housewives of Miami is on hiatus, and now a scandal surrounding Summer House is upsetting the fan base.
Following weeks of speculation, co-stars Amanda Batula and Westling Wilson revealed their relationship, and fans are asking if Bravo cameras will return to capture cast responses.
The news has piqued viewers’ interest in learning more about the show’s drama. Bravo has previously used cameras to catch reactions to incidents of similar size. It happened last season when Paige DeSorbo ended her relationship with Craig Conover, and the year before when Carl Radke broke up with Lindsay Hubbard in front of cameras, canceling their engagement on the spot.
According to reports, Bravo appears to have no plans to pick up cameras this time around. However, the Season 10 reunion is scheduled to film in mid-April, providing an excellent opportunity for the ensemble to address current happenings.
In a joint statement, which you can read in full below, the new Bravo couple said, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s happened recently was the last thing either of us expected.” Our bond stemmed from a genuine, long-standing friendship, making it extremely vital for us to approach.”
The couple also stated, “As our feelings developed, we wanted to take the time to understand exactly what we were feeling.” We also acknowledge that this has had an impact on others, and we never intended for our actions to cause harm or be viewed as careless.
The reason this combination is making so much buzz on social media is that they both rejected the allegations throughout the last few weeks. Batula, who has appeared on the reality show since its inception in 2017, has always been linked to Kyle Cooke.
Cooke and Batula have been sharing their story with Bravo viewers for ten seasons, from breakups and makeups to engagements and weddings. The most current season of the show focuses on a married couple who are having difficulty communicating, and their marital problems led to their separation, which they announced earlier this year.

Wilson’s previous relationship with co-star Ciara Miller, Batula’s close friend, complicates the situation even further. Wilson and Miller appear to be flirting with each other this season, after drifting apart last summer. Miller was prepared for a committed relationship, however Wilson was not and was unsure of his intentions, which damaged Miller along the road.
Cooke and Batula are feuding in Episode 9 of Summer House Season 10, and Wilson steps in when Cooke says some terrible words about Batula. The allegations regarding Batula and Wilson were only fueled by Wilson’s attitude when attempting to assist Batula while she was living with her then-husband.
Bravo has already explored similar ground with “Scandoval” on Vanderpump Rules. Although the program was renewed for another season with the same cast, the apparent division among them demonstrated that it was not an ideal condition for an ensemble show. The network ended up restarting the franchise with an entirely new ensemble.
Summer House will have its own spinoff later this year, with Batula, Cooke, and Lindsay Hubbard appearing on In The City.
The series was taped in the fall of 2025, but it was supposed to continue following Batula and Cooke as they dealt with their marital problems. With this new twist, viewers might tune in to play detective and see if they could pick up any hints about where things were going, just like they did while watching Vanderpump Rules after the scandal broke.
Artemis II launch: people gather for a glimpse of historic NASA lunar expedition
Artemis II launch: people gather for a glimpse of historic NASA lunar expedition
A fully crewed rocket will launch to the moon from Florida, marking the first time humans have left lower Earth orbit since 1972.
A little more than an hour before sunset on Florida’s space coast, up to 400,000 people will gather on beaches and causeways on Wednesday to view a flaming spectacle not seen in nearly 54 years: a fully crewed NASA rocket returning to the moon.
Artemis II’s launch, slated for 6.24pm ET assuming weather and any late technical gremlins offer their assent, will be the first time people have departed lower Earth orbit since the Apollo 17 mission in December 1972.
“The nation, and the world, has been waiting a long time to do this again,” Reid Wiseman, a veteran NASA astronaut and Artemis II commander, told reporters at the Kennedy Space Center on Sunday, as the crew of three Americans and one Canadian arrived to enter quarantine before launch.
Their 10-day test flight, which will not land on the moon, is a mission full of accomplishments. Two members of the crew, NASA’s Christina Koch and Victor Glover, will be the first women and people of color to fly into cislunar space, which is the space between Earth and the moon.
The fourth crew member, Jeremy Hansen from the Canadian Space Agency, will be the first non-American to do so.
Artemis II’s Orion space capsule may transport them farther from Earth than any human before them. A Wednesday launch would most likely take them more than 4,600 miles (7,400 kilometers) beyond the far side of the moon on flying day six, and just shy of 253,000 miles from home, beating the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission’s record of 248,655 miles set in April 1970.
Prior to Donald Trump’s entry to office, NASA recognized the diversity of Artemis crews on its website, but removed the recognition last year in accordance with the president’s executive order, which urged government agencies to eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices and language.
Glover, who is African American, and Koch were also careful to downplay the relevance of their race during pre-flight interviews.
“It’s not about celebrating any one individual,” Koch said at the crew’s final media briefing on Monday.
Artemis II launch: people gather for a glimpse of historic NASA lunar expedition
“If there’s anything to celebrate, it’s that we live in a time when anyone with a desire can work just as hard to make it a reality. If we don’t travel for all and by all, we aren’t genuinely responding humanity’s call to adventure.”
Aside from politics, Nasa hopes that Artemis II’s lunar flyby will serve as a foundation for ambitious plans revealed last month by the space agency’s newly confirmed chief, Jared Isaacman, for a $20 billion (£15 billion) moon base by the end of this decade.
This mission’s primary goal is to photograph portions of the moon’s south pole where the next human landing and ultimate lunar base are planned from a height of 4,000 to 6,000 miles.
The extended journey also allows the astronauts to test critical hardware and life-support systems that will be required for the program’s future flights, including Artemis IV, a historic crewed mission scheduled for 2028 that will ultimately return human footprints to the lunar surface.
The Artemis II astronauts’ health will be monitored at all times, including a study of the effects of increased radiation and microgravity. They must live together within the capsule’s five-meter diameter, with an interior volume the size of a small camper van, until they splash down in the Pacific Ocean at the end of their 685,000-mile journey.
“Like clicking a pen cap can annoy somebody over 10 days in a small capsule,” said Wiseman, who has spent practically every day with his crew since their selection in April 2023.
“We have a great conversation together, and we talk about those kinds of things, but there will definitely be times when we’re like, ‘Man, all right, I need a little space, and I can’t get any right now.'” But we’re a good crew.”
NASA The Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion capsule stack stand 322 feet (98 meters) tall on the launchpad and will separate into stages at various times throughout its ascent.Nasa is certain it has resolved the heat-shield issue that resulted in a nerve-racking re-entry for Artemis I, as well as the helium leak that pushed Artemis II back to its assembly building in February, forcing NASA’s to postpone the next launch attempt until April.
Nasa’s final weather briefing on Tuesday predicted an 80% likelihood of acceptable circumstances, in the event of a scrubbed launch, remain.” Nasa has a five-night window to attempt again.
This week, Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach, which are already crowded with spring breakers, are experiencing increased excitement for the launch, and hotel rooms are in limited supply.
It is a feeling shared by engineers and mission managers at the Kennedy Space Center, where they have spent years planning the next steps in the Artemis program. It was planned to provide a human moon landing at the start of the decade, but it is already years behind schedule and billions of dollars over budget.
What we learn from that trip will help America return to the moon’s surface. When we get to the moon, we’re going to remain.”NASA
