Fans of Dragon Ball can celebrate since Shenron has granted their desire. No, you won’t be able to become a Super Saiyan, but there will be a new Dragon Ball Super anime.
The sequel series, which was announced during the Genkidamatsuri event to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Dragon Ball anime, will resume with Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol.
During the ceremony, Akio Iyoku, president of Capsule Corporation Tokyo and executive producer of the Dragon Ball series, announced that production on Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol has begun.
There was no release date announced. Given the nature of this weekend’s announcement, it does not appear that Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol will be released anytime soon.

While information about the Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol anime was limited, Iyoku did offer a graphic for the series, which included Goku and Vegeta.
It began as a set of films, Battle of the Gods and Resurrection of F, which grew into a full franchise that included an anime and manga written and drawn by Toyotaro, with supervision from Akira Toriyama himself.
The anime ended abruptly in 2018, but the manga continued, bringing new and intriguing story arcs until the death of Akira Toriyama in 2024.
The future of Super remained uncertain, particularly following the debut of Dragon Ball Daima, a new anime series set between the end of the original and the beginning of Dragon Ball Super.
The continuation of Goku and his friends’ adventures brings relief to fans of one of the world’s most popular franchises.
Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol will adapt the plot that follows the Universe Survival arc of the Dragon Ball Super anime.
Son Goku and Vegeta team up with members of the Galactic Patrol, the galaxy’s peacekeepers, to face a new monster, Planet-Eater Moro.

Neo Langston, 23, a social media streamer who has appeared publicly with the artist, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 22, at a Helena apartment on an out-of-state warrant issued by the Los Angeles Police Department, according to court and jail records.
Langston was booked at the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center and detained without bond before being transferred to LAPD custody.
Helena police confirmed that they assisted detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division but declined to provide any information.
According to court documents, Langston was wanted for failing to appear as a witness before a grand jury.

Her decaying remains were discovered on September 8 within the front trunk of a Tesla that had been detained at a Los Angeles tow yard, just days before D4vd was scheduled to appear in San Francisco.
The automobile was registered to the musician, David Anthony Burke.
Law enforcement sources have named Burke, 20, as a suspect, but he has not been prosecuted.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and that others may have helped dispose of the girl’s body.
“The cause and manner of death remain pending,” Los Angeles County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Odey Ukpo stated recently, after his office’s court-ordered confidentiality hold.
A grand jury has been formed, and several witnesses have already testified. It is unclear whether Langston was the witness whom prosecutors previously described as uncooperative.

Adelman described Jokic’s return from a knee injury as “kind of up and down” before Denver visited the Lakers. It was the team’s 12th game without him and the 11th without either center.
Valanciunas has been sidelined with a right calf strain. Jokic hyperextended his left knee, causing a bone bruise.
“Jonas has looked fine, but there is a schedule for the injury.” He could easily redo that,” Adelman explained. “So he feels great right now, but we need to put him through these tests and play some 3-on-3, 4-on-4, and 5-on-5 before we feel comfortable with him (playing).

“I really mean this: Us winning some games has nothing to do with us holding them out,” Adelman told reporters. “This has just been the way it is. The process has been as it is.
These folks will be taken care of, and they will return. My main concern is the guys I’m currently playing with. And I’m giving Jamal (Murray) a lot of minutes. I’m giving Tim Hardaway Jr. too many minutes.
I challenged Aaron on what we thought would be our limit to winning a game. That’s the concern.”
Starting small forward Cam Johnson will reach the four-week mark in his comeback from a bone injury this week.
The Nuggets declared a four- to six-week timeline for him on Christmas, but he has yet to participate in any contact portions of practice, Adelman said Tuesday.

The Trump administration branded the initiative “The Great Healthcare Plan,” according to a video released Thursday morning.
The idea would formalize Trump’s recent agreements with big drugmakers to reduce the cost of certain prescription pharmaceuticals in the United States by pegging them to lower pricing abroad, as part of his “most-favored-nation” policy.
More than a dozen pharmaceutical companies agreed to reduce costs on specific drugs for Medicaid patients in exchange for a three-year tariff exemption.
As part of such agreements, firms agreed to sell some pharmaceuticals at a discount on Trump’s direct-to-consumer website, Trump Rx.
In his video introduction, Trump stated that decreased prescription prices will be reflected on the platform when it starts this month.
He said that prices will plummet by up to 500%, implying that prices would go well below zero.

It would also force providers who accept Medicare or Medicaid “to publicly and prominently post their pricing and fees to avoid surprise medical bills.”
The latest idea from the White House comes as senators remain deadlocked on an agreement to prolong the now-expired ACA, or Obamacare subsidies.
A bipartisan group of senators has been working on a path forward for weeks, but they recently reached a stumbling block over language related to the Hyde Amendment, a provision that prohibits the use of public funds for abortion services.
The White House plan notably excludes an extension of ACA subsidies, which Democrats have demanded as part of any health-care bargain.
The White House did not officially provide a proposal until Thursday, but Trump has often stated that he wants funds to flow directly to patients rather than insurers.
Some negotiators questioned if the White House strategy would jeopardize negotiations.
“We’ve all known that in order to move something forward, we’re going to need buy-in from the White House,” Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, one of the negotiators, told reporters Thursday. I mean, that’s the foundation of our strategy here.”
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-New Hampshire, who is leading Democratic negotiations, said Thursday that she had not yet heard Trump’s plan but was optimistic about the conversations.
“Most of the areas have agreement, so what we need to do is get bill text together and then get final sign-off so that we can talk to our colleagues about what we’re proposing,” Shaheen told a news conference.
A White House official said on Thursday that the plan does not rule out the possibility of extending the subsidies but rather outlines the president’s preferences.
“This does not specifically address the ongoing bipartisan congressional negotiations,”
the White House official added. “It does say that we have a preference that money goes to people, as opposed to insurance companies.”
