Twitch Streamer Rakai and Piper Rockelle Are Dating: ‘We ‘re Just Having Fun’

Piper Rockelle announced on Wednesday that she is dating Twitch streamer Rakai, putting an end to weeks of speculation following their appearance together at the Super Bowl.

“We were just having fun,” Rockelle told People.

Rockelle, 18, rose to prominence as a child star and founder of the “Piper Squad,” a group of preteen YouTubers in the late 2010s.

She described her new relationship as calm.

“I believe that just works for us. People will talk no matter what. But, at the end of the day, we have fun, I feel comfortable around Rakai, and I get to spend time with someone I care about. That is what matters.

Rumors about the couple first arose in January, when Rakai shared a selfie of the two in a hot tub.

Rockelle later uploaded photos of him in a hotel room and of them sitting together at the Super Bowl.

“I’m not really someone who rushes to label things,” she said. “The images, however, reveal what is happening.

I also won’t pretend there isn’t anything there. “You can see it.”

In 2025, Rockelle was romantically linked to social media celebrity Capri Jones. She told Rolling Stone that their connection began as a “social media relationship” but became contentious after they executed an April Fools’ joke about adultery.

Weeks after their breakup, Jones acknowledged in a video that he cheated amid a “really, really tough time.”

Earlier this year, Rockelle made headlines for opening an account on OnlyFans and earning nearly $2.9 million on her first day.

“I’m not going to be a kid forever,” she told Rolling Stone, adding that she used some of the money to get her grandmother a car.

“I thrive off of the hate,” Rockelle remarked in another interview.

“To be honest, I believe that hatred has kept me alive for a very long time.” “Without it, I would have become somewhat irrelevant.”
